Exponential Partner Program: Requirements
Exponential partners must align with open-source values and a commitment to quality.
Applicants share their experience, complete the form, and undergo a review process.
Approved partners sign a contract, gain access to resources, and join the global network.
Partnership lasts one year, with renewals and upgrades based on proven activity.
Two Ways to Become a Partner

At Exponential, we recognize and reward the commitment of our partners through a flexible, transparent points-based system. Whether you’re just starting or already contributing to the ecosystem, there are clear pathways to partnership.
1. Pay a Program Fee
- A monthly subscription fee of $45 USD grants you initial access to the partner program.
- To maintain active status, partners who do not reach the Professional level annually must pay this fee again each year.
2. Earn 5,000 Points
- Partners who generate 5,000 points annually through activity or revenue qualify for Basic status automatically, with no fee required.
Understanding the Points System
Our points system reflects both revenue contributions and community engagement.
1 Point ≈ 1 USD in revenue or 1 minute of value-added activity.
Some strategic activities may receive bonus points due to their higher impact on the ecosystem.

Partner tiers are reviewed monthly. You will always be placed in the highest tier for which you meet the requirements.
How to Earn Points
✅ Revenue Generation
- 1 point per $1 USD earned by exponential.earth via your direct sales, project licensing, or subscriptions.
✅ Knowledge Sharing
- Write technical articles, tutorials, wiki article documentation or documentation.
- Participate in forums or community support.
- Speak at conferences or contribute to open-source extensions.
✅ Program Activities
- Join campaigns, feedback sessions, or events.
- Help test marketing materials or participate in bug hunts.
- Engage in joint sales or “share your pipeline” initiatives.

- New ideas or impactful activities not listed? Let us know—we’ll evaluate and reward on a case-by-case basis.

Reporting Your Activity
Manual Reporting
- External activities (e.g., events, customer projects, press coverage) must be submitted via the Partner Center using a quick reporting form.
- Forum posts, bug reports, downloads, and code contributions on exponential.earth
- Purchases or subscriptions via our platform
You can monitor your progress and current points balance at any time in your Partner Dashboard.

For Silver tier and above, partners must hold valid certifications:

- Exponential Developer Certification (for technical teams)
- Exponential Design Certification (for design/ux teams)
- Exponential Solution Certification (for content-focused teams)
